Stopped working after about 3 months of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a wedding gift off of my registry. It's aesthetically pleasing and worked great until it didn't. It'd power on (the blue indicator would come on) but then wouldn't proceed to heat. Disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this as a gift from my employer and am very happy with it it heats up so quickly. My husband and I drink tea and this kettle heats up the water for our tea in no time.

Great value for money. The top steel part gets hot, so be sure to use the plastic handle to open the lid.
