Stopped working after 2 days

It has a switch in the handle to activate the heating function and that stopped working after 2 days.

Good basic kettle

It works well and quickly. I’ve only had it for a few weeks so hard to tell how it holds up. It doesn’t have the ability to set different temperatures, but that should be clear when purchasing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Kettle stopped working...

I got this kettle as a employer gift on 5/8/2024 but in the last month, I saw some burning smell coming from underneath the base and saw that the base was getting hot and the wire had burned. I applied electrical tape and fixed it temporarily and it started working again. But again 1 week earlier, it stopped working completely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fine product, but misleading product description

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is fine for boiling water, but the product description says you are able to make tea or coffee with it. This is misleading because the product instructions explicitly say to only put water in the kettle. Even if you did put tea leaves or coffee grounds, they’d likely end up in your cup because the “built in strainer” doesn’t cover the whole pour spout. Like I said it boils water fine, but they falsely advertised its tea/coffee-steeping capability.
