[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] laptop was pretty good with its specs. unfortunately it didnt work well for me as i thought it could handle my photo editing and video editing since the card is not that great, but all other specs for it are amazing for using this as a work laptop that is not based on any type of super high demand aspecs with editing. smooth at all other times. GREAT oled display and decent sound.

1. I got the 64Gb memory + 1TB ssd one. I use it for programming. It's so powerful that I haven't experienced any slowness/pressure like before with my poor macbook air. Running docker/minikube/db etc, having video calls, writing code at the same time is so smooth.
2. I am super impressed by the dev experience on Windows. It was around 2006 when I last time used a windows laptop (IBM thinkpad t40, I think). I immediately tried to install Ubuntu once I got this laptop. I had both the dual boot Ubuntu and Ubuntu on WSL2, but have spent all my time on the Ubuntu on WSL2. It's so well integrated that I had almost no issue to do my dev work.

What's not so good:
1. I purchased the laptop on my phone and there was no option to purchase the upgraded protection plan. I contacted the support who told me to wait until I receive my laptop. Once I got the laptop, I realized the 3 year protection plan now cost me around $250 while if I place a new order, it only costs me around $178 because of the workplace benefits (see pic). All the supports I contacted told me they could do nothing but recommend me returning my laptop and getting a new one. That's a pretty bad lose-lose situation. Ok, I gave up and won't upgrade the protection plan.
2. The laptop shuts down itself pretty frequently when I am not using it. I suspect it might be due to some setting but couldn't figure it out myself. What bothers me a bit is the fan which runs sometimes when I open a new page. I filed a report and got the onsite service on the next day. The technician didn't check anything but just replaced the fan. Now I still can hear the fun sound. The good thing is that the laptop hasn't shut down itself.
