So far so good! Worked right out of the box, took all of 15 seconds to install. Can't testify to if i will actually 6500 pages out of this thing, but i am optimistic. Would do five stars but shipping took forever and packaging was basically just plastic wrap.
The order arrived quickly and the packaging was intact. The cartridge was east to get out of the box and into the printer. I had a good print quality starting with the first page I printed.
The cartridge leaked from the moment I installed it - cost me a new printer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi,
It is understandable to be distressed if an ink cartridge leaks and potentially damages the printer. That is not a preferred outcome for our customers.
Always be cautious when inserting a cartridge into the printer to avoid leaks. The cartridges have a vent near the label to prevent leaking. Ensure the vent is open before you install the cartridge.
Leaking can happen with a damaged or defective cartridge. If the cartridge is defective, there is a possibility of an exchange or return. Contact HP through this link: https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/ReturnsandExchanges?id=page-return-exchange-policy/.
Lastly, I recommend you correspond with our support team if the printer is also an HP product. There might be a way to fix it. Go to https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp.
I have purchased several cartridges and only one has been defective, leaving marks on the document. Otherwise, this printer is amazing. The only downside is the cost. They are very expensive and had I known how costly the printer would be to operate, I might have looked at a different machine.
The refills were fine except the printer stopped working. Apparently after 3 years an internal engine part was "dirty". Laser printer kept shutting down with every print job and needed to be restarted. Did a restart but when sent another print, it errored out and shut down again. Needed to return the refills and get a new printer. I remember when printers used to last over 5+ years with heavy use (i.e. Laser III).
