Textured pad peeling off out of the box my mouse can't read the texture well and keeps skipping. wrist rest is nice and pad stays put.

Plastic mouse service glued to Gel (not one piece)

The problem with this mouse pad is it's not one piece but two pieces a Gel bottom and plastic glued mouse surface. The result is the plastic after one week is already coming apart. It's just a lousy product and Staples has a much better product Staples had a single-piece mouse pad that is just using a standard mouse surface. This is a much better choice.
