The gel pad is good and the size of mouse surface is good but that surface is slick and not as receptive to mouse as more textured surface like my old flat pad. Still the gel wrist rest is great and why I purchased in first place.

I was a little unhappy with the fact that this does not lay flat. Maybe with time that will work itself out. I do wish the gel wrist support had a little more give to it and not quite so firm.
