It works well as a mouse pad once you get the glue off. The top paper cover is stuck to the mouse pad with the stickiest glue ever right where you roll the mouse. I carefully tried to remove the paper but was left with a huge blob of glue. The only way I could get it off the pad was WD-40. There is no reason to put glue on the mouse surface. Also there is a piece of plastic wrap covering the back of the pad that had wrinkles in it. It appeared to me that it should be removed but then the back of the pad is rather sticky (maybe to help the pad stay in place?). There needs to be instructions on whether or not to remove the plastic wrap.
