the gel portion is kinda hard. but seems like it will be malleable in future. Better than the cloth version which was like a rock.

The wrist rest is hard and uncomfortable. Instead of being helpful it is harmful to my wrist and hand.

Not a fan. The gel pad is shiny and smooth and sometimes it can be a bit "squeeky" as you try to move your wrist across the surface. It sort of grabs. Very very firm. My wrist stays on top of the gel pad and never makes any sort of impression. The mouse pad is very sensitive but I've gotten used to it. My dissatisfaction is with the gel pad.

Compact and grips the desk making it very user friendly. The gel wrist rest stays cool for comfort. A good buy for the price.
