I bought a hand-cranked coffee grinder and was having trouble using it because it was difficult to hold in place while turning the crank. So in order to make it less “mobile” I bought a mouse pad cut the pad down to match the grinder’s base and glued it on. Now the coffee grinder doesn’t skid all over the counter top when I’m grinding the beans for my morning coffee.

The mat arrived quickly and it was put to use with ease. The texture is great and just a couple command strips can hold it in place if you would like. My only concern was that the mat arrived without a box and so it was a bit dirty when I went outside to get it which is the reason for the 4 star.

The good: Price is reasonable size is good for my use case and portability is great! The bad: Because of its light weight the edges tend to curve upward over time. Not a deal-breaker by any means but should be considered. For folks seeking a longer-term purchase consider the tradeoff of heavier material for slightly decreased portability.
