It’s hard and not as comfortable as I expected. It does keep my wrists elevated. Also the underside only slightly resists being pushed so it moves around too easily.

I'm an all-day typist so a wrist rest is often the only thing between me and a repetitive stress injury. For a store brand product this is surprisingly good. It is VERY firm. For some people that is not a plus but for me it's perfect. Goes the length of my full size keyboard with number pad. The black color is unobtrusive. The bottom of the wrist rest is non-slip but not tacky so I don't worry about the finish on my desk.
