I have been using one with a wrist pad. Now I know that I really like that feature better. The color is more lilac than purple so that was a little disappointing. Must confess I placed my old one on top of the new one so I could use the wrist rest so I am not getting full benefit of it. The mouse does seem to roll nicely.

it suits the purpose it was bought for (being used by a co-worker who has 2 computer monitors & not enough work space. She wanted an ordinary mouse pad that had a smooth texture to slide her mouse across. The standard mouse pad works fine for her needs.
