I didn't think mouse pads mattered and that they were basically all alike..Not so..Staples' pad is very thin and stays put. More importantly your mouse glides over the pad and seanmingly wether true or notI I don't know speeds up you work on the computer.

We have three dogs and a cat and I do have to lint roll the pad frequently. I'm not sure if it just shows up on the pad or if the material attracts the animal hair. I lint brush it and it's fine. Good value as two were in the package.
