This pad is closer to gray a very light lavender shade not purple! My desktop is (and chair) are done in black and purple. This is not what I wanted. **The stapler staple remover and lamp are purple! And if you can see it the fabric arm if the chair. The folder that is pictured is maroon was also to have been purple!

These are thin plenty big enough and are a nice color. There are 2 to a package. A sr. lady I help needed 1 so she could SEE her mouse on the mousepad. She is visually impaired and can't see black on black. She & I both liked them a lot. They are esthetically nice and do the trick. The 2nd mousepad she can use as a no-slip surface for a glass when she eats : ) There are many other uses for a mousepad!!
