The beaded wrist rest was awful. I returned it. It felt like there were not enough beads in it to make it firm enough to rest your wrist on and it didn't allow for movement of the arm. It was horrid.
I have noticed soreness in my wrists since moving to remote teaching this fall. I was hesitant to get a wrist rest because I was worried it would prop them up too high. I like this beaded one because it molds to a comfortable position and I don't feel any strain. However I am easily distracted by readjusting it to smooth it out. That's just me not a product flaw.
These beaded wrist rests are replacements for one I've had for at least six years- I bought two one for work and one for my new computer. They don't stick to your skin they are malleable and welcome me back to the computer each time. No injuries or strain with these!
