neat idea but it was too hard for my 80-year-old wrist -- the beads moved around OK but once settled they were too hard. I returned the wrist rest and got a gel one.
I prefer this kind of bead-filled support over the memory foam or gel which tend to be too firm for my liking. This one conforms to my wrist much better and has just the right amount and size of beads in it. Two negatives: 1) The fabric is way too thin so it won't take a whole lot of wear for a hole to form. Some sections are REALLY thin and the weave is quite loose. 2) There is no grippiness to the bottom so it slides around more than it should. Regarding that first negative it is a very real concern as the first one I bought already had a small hole that I noticed during the first day of use as the plastic beads were coming out and ending up all over my desk. I exchanged it and the second one has no holes but as I said the fabric is so thin that it won't withstand much wear. This means a likely durability issue. For that reason I'm downrating it quite a bit.
