I was a little disappointed in the size it's a bit smaller than one I had bought about a year ago. But all in all it is a great help and the sale price was very fair. I would recommend it to anyone who has problems with joint pain. It has helped after having surgery on both wrist last year. Much more comfortable working for any length of time. Also a good size for packing if you have a need to travel.

Squishes flat; not supportive

There are not enough beads inside the pouch. The pouch is made of elastic material presumably so it can contour to your wrist. However because the pouch is elastic and there are not many beads inside once you put your wrist down the rest splats flat and is no longer able to keep your wrist in an elevated ergonomic position. I am developing cubital tunnel syndrome (not carpal) so I didn't need anything overly-engineered. But this is probably less effective than a hacky sack. Other reviews say this is *very* small. For me that's a plus. I specifically wanted something mini since 1) most child-sized watches fit me and 2) I switch between a keyboard/mouse and books/papers at my desk so I did not want a large rest with a mouse pad etc. This would do the trick if it either had more beads or were stitched tighter. Could I fix it? Sure. But then I might as well just make my own or spend $15 on etsy for something custom.
