I ordered black and it's actually gray. The pad is rock hard so I think it is uncomfortable to use. It seems a bit small so it could be slightly larger in area.

I purchased to use at work. This pad is excellent as the support is firm yet comfortable. I am planning on buying one for home use because it is superior to a different one that I own. Well worth the extra $2.00 compared to what I have at home. The gel does not lose its rigidity that others of lesser quality do.
