I have not decided to keep this mouse pad. It was horribly evident when I opened the plastic package that it stunk to high heaven. Really really bad mold smell. I have sprayed it many times already with Clorox 4 in One. This is not my first experience with this problem. I was working in another office and they had bought 4 or 5 mouse pads - all had the same problem and all were returned. This happened 6-8 months ago!!! Somebody is dropping the ball - they should not be on the shelf! I should not need to be spraying the stupid item. I do not really have time to write this let alone go through a return process for such an item. Very disappointed in Staples.

Out of the packaging it had a terrible smell but not noticeable while in use the next day. It is very comfortable and I wonder why I didn’t upgrade my mouse pad years ago. Just make sure you have room for the support beside your keyboard. My old flat mousepad was partially under my keyboard and had to be moved over.
