This mouse pad is a good bargain. The pad is not thin the color coincides with the color of my laptop but the gel could be a little less stiff.

I really didn't need a mouse pad with a laser mouse. BUT I have carpel tunnel syndrome. So I need a mouse pad with a wrist support for my wrist. NOT for my mouse.

I am disappointed with my purchase because it is not comfortable. I have a mouse pad with a gel wrist rest at work that is wonderful and I expected this one to be like it. Instead the wrist pad is hard and too solid..not soft and comfortable like the one I have at work. I purchased it without being able to feel the flexibility of it because It was encased in a hard plastic container that prevented me from pressing on it. Would not recommend this product.
