I needed to replace my current wrist rest for my keyboard. My old one was long enough to extend over to the mouse pad area making one item support my wrists continually. This one is shorter; it is only the length of the keyboard. And it isn’t as comfortable to the wrists as I had hoped. The memory foam is not like the gel type supports that you might see. It did have a little opening in the packaging to “feel it” and I thought it would work but it is stiffer than I anticipated. Keeping it however because the plastic packaging had to be cut to remove it and it pretty much ruined any opportunity to return the wrist rest to the store for possible restocking on their part. Hindsight…I would have continued looking for a different style for me. Your preference may vary and this may work for you.

This product lasted only 15 seconds on my desk. The product description describes it as "gel" with "exceptional comfort." No way this thing is gel but rather has to be some type of foam; nor is it comfortable in the least but very rigid and borderline painful. The packaging was quite rigid and prevented me from discerning the true nature of this product at point of purchase but next time I will be more aware. As of now this piece of junk resides in my trash can.

At my Staples - I found only 1 keyboard wrist rest so I bought it. It is rather form/rigid and not gel-like/soft as I've had other brands before. It does elevate my wrist. I would have given it more stars had it been a bit more comfortable.
