My previous wrist rest was getting really old. It was the Staples brand beaded type. I actually liked it better than this one because it is softer and you could "mold" it to shape as you wished. However this one stays put as the bottom is rubbery. The beaded one might end up on the floor if you have cats LOL. I nearly decided to return this one as it is quite firm and not as comfy as the beaded style but after doing a lot of typing with it for about a week decided to keep it.

Worked well for quite a while. However after quite a bit of use a hole has appeared on one end and the "gel" is oozing out little by little. Currently looking for a replacement.

I have it on my desk and use it every day. I put both wrists and my elbows on the wrist rest and it feels nice. The wrist rest keeps my wrist at the right height for my mouse.
