I have had other gel wrist rest's in the past and this one was much firmer than previous ones I have had. Since I preferred and was also expecting a more gel like feeling product I returned it and will continue to look elsewhere.

I'm pairing this with a mechanical keyboard and I absolutely love the feel of this and height to lift my wrists. It's got just enough give to be comfortable but it's slightly more firm than I expected in a way that I really like. The textured material cover is great too. Big fan!
