It does track well but my only complaint are the edges of this mouse pad. They are extremely irritating to your wrist after using it for an extended period of time. I edit a lot of photographs. It would be perfect if the edges were rounded and less abrasive to your wrist. I did have to take some fine sandpaper and sand the edges down so I could continue to use it.
