My Logitech Optical corded mouse apparently doesn't recognize the all-black surface. I ended up buying another mouse pad that had some color and pattern. Too bad because I like the idea of being ultra thin.

much better than fabric mouse pad smoother laser mouse type can quickly move around. fabric type pad slows the mouse laser track - much slower. I have two ultrathin mouse pad
