I bought two of these cameras. The first one worked for 2 years before having issues, but the second one stopped working after just 1 year because water got inside. Pretty disappointed with the inconsistency and weatherproofing
The eufy SoloCam S220 is a very versatile, self-contained security camera that is incredibly easy to deploy. I use multiple as security cameras for my RV, where their all-in-one design is especially useful. Each unit has its own battery, solar panel, and onboard memory storage, so I can place the cameras wherever I need them and simply connect them to a Wi-Fi hotspot in the RV.
The power management works very well, with the solar panels keeping the batteries fully charged so I never have to worry about running out of power. There’s no need to run power cables or deal with separate storage devices, which makes installation simple and flexible.
Deploying the cameras around the house is even easier. Overall, the SoloCam S220 is a well-designed, reliable, and convenient security solution that offers excellent flexibility for both home and RV use. Highly recommended!
Loses charge fast and needs to be physically plugged in to work—even when placed out in sunny area. 8gb isn’t a lot of built in memory either and can’t really see faces or cars clearly—especially if they are running past the camera. Too blurry even though 2K.
It’s good but doesn’t detect vehicles when in front of my home but will detect a vehicle that’s nowhere near my home. Very inconsistent when detecting even a human. It’s okay, my older eufy camera did a better job but it was solar so I got tired of charging it but I may buy an aftermarket solar panel and install it and reinstall my old eufy
Love this camera, it has clear pictures and has built in storage but best of all NO HODDEN FEES! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the solar pancake doesn’t seem to be charging efficiently. I’ve moved it around 3 different times but the same outcome!
