The vent hood I purchased for my home looks very nice. It has plenty of power to move air/steam away from my cooktop. It is poorly engineered regarding the housing that extends to the ceiling above the unit. If the 2 sections were designed with any installation experience there is a simple way to secure the sides of the stack to the wall near the middle of the stack to prevent bowing of the vent stack. As a high end builder/contractor I am never surprised when products are poorly designed.
I have had this unit for about 5 months and it works great so glad we picked this one it is super quiet and has strong suction also the lights in the hood work great
We are very happy with this range hood. Absolutely love it in white! Does the job very well, the bright lights over the range top are a huge plus. 5 stars

The WM-530-BASE range hood delivers excellent value for anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen ventilation without compromising on style or function. It features a powerful motor with adjustable suction settings that effectively removes smoke, grease, and cooking odors. Even on the lower settings, the performance is impressive and relatively quiet.
The stainless steel finish gives it a modern, professional look that complements most kitchen styles. The touch panel is intuitive and easy to clean, and the bright LED lights provide great visibility over the cooktop.
Installation was straightforward, and maintenance is simple thanks to the dishwasher-safe baffle filters. For those who can’t vent outdoors, the option to convert to ductless with a charcoal filter makes it a flexible choice.
Overall, the WM-530-BASE is a dependable and well-built range hood that combines functionality, ease of use, and a polished look. Highly recommended for home cooks and professionals alike.
Contemporary design and easy installation are the best features of this vent hood. The downside is that it can only reach 9ft ceilings. Many homes have taller ceilings which make the extension necessary if you don’t modify the ceiling at the exhaust point.
