This little printer is a really good addition to your home office or just to your home computer. It works well (text, clip art, photos, and QR codes, etc.) and has a lot of choices for label tape. Definitely recommend.
I have enjoyed using this labeler; I do a lot of labeling for cables and patch panels; I would recommend a template for patch panels; since we use so many different types, and template that we could adjust accordingly would save some time. That said, being able to use excel and list 50 cables and have them print while I am doing something else is super. Thank you
I'm not sure what the problem is, these devices have software pre-installed in the unit, no need to install desktop software. Well my P700 doesn't like my Mac! They fight and argue all the time, with the Mac always winning. I really am dis-appointed, because when things do go well, it's a great little machine. The specs stated it was Apple OS X compatible. I wish I would have done some homework instead of making a knee jerk reaction to buy. I did not realize they offered a Wireless option. If this keeps giving me issues and keeps crashing the program.... Well I'm not sure which way I will go. I'd would like to get a wireless unit though. I did reach out to Product Support and never heard anything back.
Prior to my purchase I was doing my labeling the old fashion way -- by hand. Labeling is my method of organization for my files, my home and for the other items I use. The PT-P700 solved my problem because how it operates. It's easy. My labels are uniformed and I have many options for different labeling. It is a great asset.
My daughter is starting school soon and this label printer is the best labeler I found You can print any type of labels using many different fonts and font sizes and you can even insert images and pictures I tried many other ones but this is the one The only down side is that the labels aren't cheap, Other than that it does the job pretty good
