Where has this been all of my office life!? I have become a bit of an office supply junkie and happened upon this gem because someone was getting rid of the tape. I purchased this and i don't see an end to my madness thanks to this labelmaking beast.

Pretty Sharp If You Don't Pixel-peep

This little label printer is fairly easy to set up and use, the label tape is easy to load and the tape quality is really solid, with great adhesive durability. The drawbacks are the slight pixelization of the print resolution and the little one-inch squares of tape which are wasted with each individual label output.

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!

This is not a bluetooth printer! Your phone will work on BT; your computer needs USB, but the included cord will only work with a computer from 2005. Now I need to spend $$$ on some funky combo cable to connect to my laptop. That's why we use BT, guys at Brother. Moreover, you can create all kinds of layouts and font faces on the laptop app, but you cannot share them to your phone for printing. Just one font (ugly at that). Really, Brother, have you even heard of PDF or the cloud? Reminds me of sneaker-net days. I want my old Dymo back. At least it worked!

Vertical margins are too wide and too wasteful

I can't imagine what the designers of this and pretty much every other current-generation PTouch printer are thinking: the print head is only 19mm high, which means it cannot take full advantage of the 24mm tape; a good 1/4 of the tape width is wasted. Worse, the software forces this (having vertical margins that are 1/8th the width of the tape above and below the printable area) for all tape widths.
I understand that there must be tape in front of each pixel of the printhead to carry away the heat, otherwise the pixel may burn out, but really, only using 75% of the area is wasteful.

Doesn't work on an iMac

did not work with my iMac, could not get app to print, templates were very dated so I returned the unit.
