How does this not print vertically???

Bought to make cable wraps. How does it not have this ability. It’s text, sideways. Mind blowing.

Unfortunately the Brother PTP710BT machine is not able to print cable wraps since is not able to use the tape cassettes.

Great Portable Labeling Device

Great for quick labels very handy and fast. Battery lasts a long time just which there was a way to gauge how much tape is left and the battery pack percentage was displayed somewhere to know when it is time to charge it.

The printer is quick and very quiet. You can easily make all kinds of designs on various sized labels. The App helps you easily see what the label looks like before you print.

Poor bluetooth connectivity

Supper annoying, you have to connect to bluethooth every minute. It does not remember the connection.

Poor Software Design Hampers a Capable Device

Not all I had hoped, but it's the software, not the device. The device performs well, and is easy to use (thouhygh I do miss the ease of a keyboard right on the device.) However, both the simple and adavcned software apps designed tow ork with this device have some of the world UIs I have ever seen. Needlessly complicated, without clear instructions on their use.

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!

This is not a bluetooth printer! Your phone will work on BT; your computer needs USB, but the included cord will only work with a computer from 2005. Now I need to spend $$$ on some funky combo cable to connect to my laptop. That's why we use BT, guys at Brother. Moreover, you can create all kinds of layouts and font faces on the laptop app, but you cannot share them to your phone for printing. Just one font (ugly at that). Really, Brother, have you even heard of PDF or the cloud? Reminds me of sneaker-net days. I want my old Dymo back. At least it worked!

Best Garden Label Maker EVER!

I LOVE this label printer. I bought a case for it and I take it everywhere with me. I label my garden plants with the waterproof labels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Best labeler ever! I wish it was a color label maker. I would definitely use that all the time too. Best purchase ever!
