Best Aunt Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had every doll in this series since 2019. It's too elaborate for my 6 yr old niece. This doll is for collectors more than kids to play with. It is brightly colored and the package is lovely. Again not for younger kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with this year’s Ken Dia de Muertos doll. His outfit is beautifully crafted. His face is painted of course and there are skeletons on his hands and on his sombrero. This is a true collectible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Dia De Muertos Barbie doll collection! This is my first Dia De Muertos Ken doll and he spectacular. The amount of detail on this doll is breathtaking from the face paint, gold and embroidered details on the clothing, all the way to his boots!
The packaging is absolutely fabulous and is excellent for any doll collector to beautifully display the doll. He does also come with a stand if you are wanting to take him out of the box to display.
I highly recommend getting this doll! You won't be disappointed.

A Stunning Día de Muertos Collectible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie Signature Día de Muertos Ken doll is absolutely exquisite. It’s clearly meant to be displayed—the instructions on the back of the box suggest placing it on an ofrenda—although technically, you could play with it if you wanted to. The details are just stunning: the intricate paintwork on his face and hands, the beautifully embroidered clothing, and the overall craftsmanship of the doll make it a real showpiece. I am absolutely floored by how beautiful it is . . . and it's a "Ken" doll! Mind blown!
The doll comes with a stand and a certificate of authenticity, and the box itself is so gorgeous that you could easily keep it displayed in there. There’s also a matching Barbie available if you want to complete the pair. They're a little expensive, but for good reason; there is a lot of work that has gone into them.
I’m not of Mexican heritage, so I can’t speak to the cultural accuracy, but the craftsmanship and attention to detail really shine through. Honestly, the only “problem” is that it’s almost too special to give to a child—this might just be one of those dolls that mum keeps for herself!
