Gorgeous packaging with a fun doll inside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment we saw the box, I knew this was going to be a hit with my kids. This was packaged and designed so beautifully. Then to see the detail on the doll itself between the clothing, the facial design, the skeletal hands. Just impeccable. We got this right in time for Halloween and my kids have been loving playing with it. The doll is very well made and sturdy. The clothes have been durable despite frequent outfit changes. I took one star away simply because the stand is very flimsy and broke on the first day. I realize it’s a display stand but it did not hold up to my kids. Also the hat does not stay on the head well, meaning it mostly just stays off the doll and goes unused. But overall this has been a wonderful doll to add to their collection.

Spectacular Día de Muertos Ken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year's Día de Muertos Ken is fantastic. An adult who buys this for their child might be very tempted to keep it for themselves. He comes in a beautiful display case and is totally impressive before even opening up the package. The face painting is unique, very detailed and looks great, and even his hands are painted with skeleton bones. He's wearing an attractive embroidered white shirt, and his gold-decorated pants and vest are very stylish. His ensemble is completed with a custom belt and nicely decorated hat and boots. The only slight shortcoming is that his hat is a bit small. An unexpected bonus is that he's fully articulated, so if your child decides to play with him, he's especially fun to play with. He can stand up on his own and also comes with a clear plastic stand.

Barbie's Ken Dia de los Muertos 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the outfit and face expression. I think that is perfect for the Day of the Dead. This Ken doll is more posable than previous Día De Muertos. I like the marigold packaging that is great for display collectors.

A Beautifully Detailed Ken!

His eyes have a beautiful metallic sheen around them and his white shirt has detailed floral embroidery that matches the cuffs; which is a shame they covered it up with a vest. The hat, shoes, and belt look polished and add to the aesthetic of the outfit. I'm so happy to add this to my collection!

Día de los muertos Ken with Mariachi outfit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lovely Ken came in a beautiful box with stand and authenticity certificate. Using it at as decoration for our Dia de los Muertos Altar. The outfit is so authentic with so much detail just like a typical Mexican Mariachi suit. Very well made.

Perfect for culture appreciation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is what caught my child’s attention immediately. They loved the colors, the images and the sleekness of it all. Once they opened the box and pulled the doll out, they immediately noticed the fine details of the dolls hat, belt, clothes, boots and face makeup. Like any kid/teen, they stood the doll up, made it sit by folding its legs, moved the arms and hands around and turned its head. Also they loved the stand that comes with the doll. They did think the hat would be more of a fabric material but ultimately still liked it.

Stunning and detailed collector doll

The art on the packaging is pretty, with flowers and a Ken photo. It's a variation from previous Dia de Muertos dolls. While it doesn't feel as artistic or collectible than previous years, the advantage is the front is open so you can see the doll. I do prefer previous versions as it felt like a piece of art. The inside box background print has marigolds; the flowers look very nice with the doll. The colors are our favorite combination so far, simple but traditional and festive.

We like to collect in box. The way Ken is posed is a little strange, he appears too tall to fit in the box so he has his knees bent a bit.

The screening is gorgeous. The painted face is very nicely done. He has gold details on his face along with a heart and an orange detail. He is articulated so can be put in various poses. The quality of the doll feels very good and durable. His hair is rooted and slicked back, and his hands have bones painted on.

The outfit has so much detail. The color scheme of white, orange, and brown is gorgeous. The shirt has delicate embroidered flowers under the vest. The vest, hat, and pants, have beautiful gold detail. It would have been nice to see the detail on the boots colored in the same way the hat is. He has a belt with skull details. The materials used are very good quality, the embroidery is real and not screen printed, and the belt, hat, and boots have raised details. The shirt even has very tiny, raised dots to look like buttons.
This doll is a wonderful collector doll worth getting. The quality is good, the detail is thoughtful and well executed, and the design is interesting and unique from previous years which have seen a lot of black fabric. The more neutral colors mean it can be paired with several other barbies, one being the Kris Goyri collector barbie.

Dia De Muertos Ken is Perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year’s addition to the Dia De Muertos collection is one of my favorites. Ken looks great from his rooted hair to his festive outfit and makeup. He is a wonderful collector doll. I love the details of his shirt in particular. I plan on displaying him and I like that the box is a window box where you can see him inside. I love the color choices for his outfit, and I think he is very handsome.
