Backing away from doom scrolling

This beautiful clock radio was part of my plan to put distance between myself and the incessant and destructive vibe of having my smartphone close by. It made it easy to put my phone away, turn on the classical music station (where a human still DJs), and read myself to sleep. Waking to the radio is a friendly and nostalgic way to start my morning. The beauty of my Tivoli Model 3 BT brings me joy every time I see it.

The ease of operating, sound quality, simplicity of design have been fine. Somehow I missed the description of the cabinet and expected at least wood veneer. The “cherry” cabinet facing looks like paper and comes nowhere near the color of the cherry wood table I set it on. I would have paid more for the real thing. Sad.

Love the aesthetics and size. But it has to work. And right now it has stopped ticking. It’s not the batteries. Fresh ones were put in. A very gentle tap on the clock face gets the clock working again. But I had to do it three times now since I started using it. Unboxed it about a week or so after I received it. I need a new one so please arrange a return. The rest is great (sound, button layout, appearance and size)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tivoli Clock Light is Too Bright

The light on the alarm clock is entirely too bright, and it can't be dimmed or turned off.

Wished for better

I had a Tivoli for my very first iPod back in the day and I used it til both things wore out. It was great! So I purchased the Tivoli alarm clock to replace my old bedside radio, and I expected it to be the best thing ever. Sadly, it’s not. It makes a little clicking sound every five seconds (and it’s right by my head!) and the light is way too bright for being in a bedroom at night. The sound quality is still fantastic, it’s just not what I’d hoped for as the perfect alarm clock. Sadness.

We love our new Three BT. Such beautiful warm sound from a lovely design. The clever functionality makes it so versatile, and it's amazingly portable. If I could give it six stars, I would.

Awesome Radio

All the design decisions were made quite well, not over done nor under done. As a radio the sound is complete. just the right amount of base treble. Good performance at low as well as at high volume. As a piece of furniture, this little radio commands its attention. The selector dial, clock, and speaker look so good in that wooden frame. It sounds like a radio and looks like a radio. It was on my get list for a while. I am happy I finally got one.
