Unfortunately after having West Nile Virus I was told not to exercise until a doctor told me to in 2006. I bought a Stamina folding Life Styler stair stepper which looks very much like this one; but, read-out only shows the time and not the calories burned. I will buy this one if I survive my next surgery or the treatment plan my team of doctors allows. I have kept my strength up with at least 10 years of constant use of my model #40-0076 stair stepper.

I have a hard time getting not to skip counting some of my steps. Even if I have it on the lowest setting or not. Can't figure out what the problems is. It looks like it is going down to the little counter each step.

I have a neurological condition that affects my legs so I thought this stepper would be good for my leg motion. It does not help me because the range of motion for your legs is very short. It is very well made so I have nothing bad to say about the product.

I bought this product a month ago and am very pleased. Assembly was quick and easy, and the item is sturdy. Changing the resistance is simple. My only complaint is that after about 30 minutes of use the resistance decreases and the slight squeaking noise the stepper makes increases to a rather loud noise. Otherwise, though, I am very happy with this product.
