NO SUPPORT FOUND!

My ice maker quit working so I tried to get help diagnosing the problem and found that Frigidaire offers the sale of the same model but when I went the support page and entered the model number {which I copied from the sales page) all I get is an error message stating "Invalid model number". I would really like to know why a company as profitable as Frigidaire is so money hungry they will NOT spend the minuscule cost of supporting their own product.
