Disappointing

Disappointed that this isn’t more high tech. As much of what we recycle is plastic trays tins etc this does no more than push contents down then they spring up again. You still have to crush things before they go in to the bin.

Great rubbish bin. Easy to use. I tend to push (compact) the rubbish and leave it in the down position as i’ve found it allows for more rubbish to be put in

Amazing bin and awesome compactor function

Absolutely amazing bin, I live in a house of 6 people and we normally have to empty our old bin twice a week now thanks to this bins compactor function, which compacts the rubbish into a love size block, I now only have to empty the bin once a week and last the Oder eater in the lid, amazing, I hardly ever smell my bin now, it use to smell after a few days of putting waste in but I hardly notice the smell thanks to the Oder eaters.

I saw this on Dragon’s den and thought it was a very inventive way to save space in the household bins , I am having my kitchen remodelled so I have not put it in place yet , but I can’t wait to use it. It is perfect for a large household like mine .

This is awesome. Expensive but worth it. Our local authority has dropped our rubbish collection to once a month, leading me to find an alternative to the prospect of taking our rubbish to the tip. This is it. A family of 4, recycling everything else, is only filling this compactor once a week, resulting in space in our grey bin at the end of each month. Robust, unobtrusive and very elegant (it is JJ after all!!!!) it is also a beautiful thing to look at too without taking up too much room in the kitchen. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend (and have already done so.)
