Bought 2 when these were first added to the Lenovo store (via Passport Corperate). Both arrived smelling like rotten rubber, but the mats were in good physical condition otherwise. Had to hand wash these and then hang them up to air out for a few days before I could even tolerate the odor of a single one on my table. These were probably stuck in the shipping pallet for quite awhile. The odor thing might not be present for later orders I guess.
The mat is thin, which is expected for the price, but at the same time it's sufficiently thick enough to not crumble up when stuffs on it are moved around. The design isn't offensively gamer-y, so that's a plus if you want to use it at work without attracting attention. At the time of purchase each cost me about $10 with free shipping, so I find these mats to be perfect sacrificial table cover: thick enough not to feel cheap, and cheap enough to not bother my wallet when they get damaged.
