[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this in exchange for my honest review. I played 2 players with my partner. The packaging was clean, neat and easy to unpack. When going over the instructions, it was a bit unclear at first. I attached a photo of the page on the instructions that has a type. “Column 4” is actually “Column 3” they are talking about. But basically this game is mathematical tic tac toe. There is strategy to it, and it was fun to play. I thought that the theme was a bit unnecessary though, if it was simplified like Uno, it would be less confusing. The money part was all not necessary, just a calculator to calculate your current score is just fine so we didn’t even bother unpacking them. Overall it was a fun game, and I would recommend it for older kids & adults.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Colorful and engaging packaging. My boys and I were very interested in learning how to play the game because we enjoy space and photography. Set up is easy and the tray makes storage simple. Gameplay is also easy but scoring is very difficult. We will continue to play to learn since we like the concept of the game.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package is nice good quality. My husband loved playing it with my son. It looks difficult to learn but my son figured it out and really enjoyed it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game was so fun! We had two adults, 37 and 40, and two teens that were 12 and 16, and we all loved the game! It's a space type game for the whole family! I recommend for anyone over 10 so it can be really understood.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cosmolancer is a great game. The colors are bright and draw you in. The game has a booklet with instructions in multiple languages. This is a game about strategy and some luck. The game is a little bit confusing and intimidating at first when learning the rules. I believe the age rating is correct for this game as there is some math to it. I found a YouTube video that helped explain the game.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family loves games, we have a game closet full of them, and Cosmolancer has been a great one to add to the collection! The directions are pretty good without a huge learning curve and the board/pieces are high quality…most importantly it is a lot of fun! It’s similar to other major games where you build the board as you go, but is unique in how you’re competing with others in what you’re building. Not knowing what pieces will be coming up next adds a fun dynamic of figuring out when to put your camera pieces down without someone else giving you negatives. This was a fun game for my wife and 10 year old son, and I know we’ll be playing it again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept of Cosmolancer is very interesting and I find the game itself is quite fun. However, it is pretty confusing, especially when it comes to adding up the points at the end of a round. I cant imagine any 9 year old (as it's rated 9 years+) can figure out how to play it without the help of an adult. Overall, I would only recommend it for an adult, and after learning the rules it is a fun game.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a unique board game that I haven’t seen before. It focuses on taking Astro photography and is similar to other card games in the genre and a lot of fun.
