Works perfectly in my pedestal bird bath. It needs direct sunlight to work well, and the water spray can reach over 12 inches. I placed a small rock on one section of the panel to reduce the spray height, which worked perfectly to keep water from splashing out. (Disclosure: I am a Wasserstein staff member).

Cute & Simple fountain

This was easy to set up straight out of the box. Just snap on a fountain head and place it in your water source. I wish there was a diagram of what pattern each nozzle would produce, but you'll just have to snap one on and see if its what you're looking for. I installed mine in a 200 gallon pond to get the water moving but it's not strong enough for this application. Also, if it's not in full sun, it sprays intermittently. It's perfect for a bird bath and I love that it just runs when the sun hits it. Great price and no fuss over a chord.

The design is pleasant, with a simple and classic look that fits well in most outdoor spaces. The solar-powered feature is convenient, eliminating the need for electrical wiring or batteries. On sunny days, it works well, pushing water nearly a foot high, but the performance can be inconsistent on cloudy days or in shaded areas. The water flow is sometimes unreliable, which can be frustrating if you’re seeking consistency. For optimal functionality, the fountain should be placed in a spot that receives direct sunlight for most of the day.

Great value for the money. It works well but needs direct sunlight to work properly. The different nozzles are great for customizing the look. Keep it out of the sun when not in use to avoid running without water (Disclosure: I am a Wasserstein staff member).

This is my 3rd Dartwood Solar Bird Bath & Water Fountain. It's freezing in MN right now so mine is stored safely for Spring. I sent my latest purchase to my niece in FL who gets to enjoy it year round. This works SO great! She loves it! It's funny because it's something you don't know you need until you have it. What I like it how it helps keep the water fresher for birds and critters, plus it attracts birds. My first one I used in a huge garden bowl on the ground. Something was eating it! In the middle of the night, a critter got IN the bowl and enjoyed the water but chewed on it. So, I got another one and put it in a proper bird bath and have had zero issues. LOVE.

I am an employee of Wasserstein. Multiple nozzles is a nice touch for some variety and the whole thing was super easy to set-up! I was done in a couple of minutes, no fuss, no mess.

the hummingbirds in my yard can't get enough

The solar fountain is perfect for the hot days we’ve been having so far this summer. I tried mine for the first time over the weekend and It's been working well for the time I’ve had it. It needs full sun to be fully optimized but can still function to a very good standard in outdoors when there is even limited light. I am lucky that I often get humingbirds in my yard they seem to be loving the waterjet spray for a little shower and drink. I give it 9/10 (I am a Wasserstein staff member)
