It is indestructible

I've had this speaker for 2 years now, and I can't say enough how much I love it. It is light, well designed, the battery last FOREVER, the bass is bang on, especially for such a small size speaker.
I am a traveler and a tree planter, so I carry it with me outdoors e-ve-ry-day. It has been full of dirt soooo many times, pouring rain on it, and it still works wonder. I even put my speaker in a firepit by accident (it was dark and I thought it was a wood log...!!) so it burnt for a good 5 minutes, until I took it out. That was one year ago and it is STILL as efficient as if it was brand new (although the surface is burnt, woopsie). My friends kept telling me I should give a good reviews to this speaker since I always brag about how much I love it. So..m there it is! Happy customer !!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Faulty product, company didn't back up warranty

I purchased this just before Canada Day due to the fact that it is built to get wet and claims to float. Within hours of the Canada celebrations my family and I were having my unit fell of the paddleboard and SANK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE LAKE. I contacted UE support and they gave me a seemingly impossible list of information to retrieve to get my warranty claim going, however when I sent them the requested information I never heard back. I am approaching a month since first contact and the company does not seem to care about it's customers. Do yourself a favor and buy from a company who will honor it's warranty and respect it's customers.

This Boom speaker was really promoted by Best Buy salesmen. Expected much better quality and depth of sound. Bought a WonderBoom 2 . what a difference.

Downgrade from the UE Boom 2

These feel cheap, the button feels bad, it doesn't feel as solid as the Boom 2. No aux port, no tripod mount... this is a downgrade from the last itteration.
Ue / Logitech just doesn't care anymore...

Great speaker, but a step down from Boom 2.

Great speaker but quite frankly the removal of the 3.5mm port makes this speaker way less useful and versatile than the previous version of this.
Floating at the surface of the water is a neat trick, but it wasn't worth losing the 3.5mm port.

Sounds like a can

Don’t buy. Sounds like music coming from a can. No bass and no clarity on the mids/highs. I bought and returned. Bose Soundlink Flex is what I relaxed it with. Sounds 10x better, no lies.

Good sound

This speaker is what I needed and it filled our expectations. This speaker is a mid-range speaker. That being the case this is good value. If you want hi-end speakers look elsewhere.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good sounds and battery life, power issues
on March 7, 2023

The sound is good for what it is and the battery life is great, however I can only turn it on if all my devices that have a connection to it have their bluetooth turned off which seems like a quality control issue. It will also sometimes connect to my computer then immediately mute my computer's sound. When this happens I can simply turn up the computer volume which turns the sounds back on (obviously) but then my computer volume controls don't operate the speaker's volume, only the speaker volume controls will do that. But sometimes it connects just fine and the computer volume controls are in sync with the speaker and as far as I can tell it has to do with whether I connect the speaker to the computer or the computer to the speaker. If it weren't for these weird connection issues I'd give it 4.5/5 stars but the issues are very annoying and shouldn't be a problem for something that costs $200. Otherwise I like the style and the controls are easy to use, no issues there.
