Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves having her own Amazon echo show 5 kids. It comes in a fun lively green color and has kid friendly apps on it and can be used just like the regular Amazon echo. She just loves watching her shows on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have multiple Echo devices in our home and use them daily. This is a nice device to limit what the kids are able to do with the device. Alexa plays games with the kids, including Magic Door (a fun choose your adventure exploration), Would you rather, and Hide and Seek. My daughter also likes to ask how many days until her birthday, Christmas, etc. It's a great way to keep the kids entertained without ipads/tvs. My kids are 7 & 9, for reference.

Kids love it, I’m not convinced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were super excited to get an echo show for their playroom. We already have a couple of echo dots and an Amazon fire. They love watching kids shows on this thing. I tried it out as well and am not totally convinced this is necessary compared to just getting a fire tablet. Alexa works with the tablet as well and I haven’t figured out what the tablet can’t do that this can other than the speaker being louder. Also, this has to be plugged in to work so it isn’t super portable. Like the fire tablet, if I leave it connected to the internet, it will have ads on the screen which I dislike and wish I could turn off. We live in a rural area and I don’t need my throttled internet to be used up by nonstop ads so I turn the device wifi off when we aren’t using.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Great Product for Kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves his Echo Show Kids, and I honestly love that I feel safe letting him have it because of the parental controls. My son uses it all the time. He is always listening to music, asking Alexa to read him a story, or asking for help with his homework. It comes with a year subscription to Amazon Kids +, including music stations, audiobooks, videos, and games geared toward kids. It has so much content that there is no way he can run out. My son also has a couple of friends who have Echo Shows, so I allow him to make video calls with those friends. Additionally, we have many Echo Dots in our house, so we often use the intercom feature. We are delighted with the Echo Show Kids!

Frustrating to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really looking forward to exploring this Alexa show with my kids. Once it was all set up, which was a really easy process, we were ready to ask her a bunch of questions and have a blast. It was kind of a let down. Everything we asked her she seemed to have struggled with understanding our requests. I imagined to be able to get recipes or math breakdowns on the screen but we couldn’t. It’s mostly just for the apps it has already programmed on it. It has a few different categories like skills and games, music and alarms. To get it to tell a bedtime story required a google search and at least 10 minutes to get the correct wording to where she knew the command. The unit itself is colorful and bright, fun for the kids but it’s definitely not going to match home decor. The screen size is decent, not too small. The touch is very responsive and haven’t had any unlocking issues or selection issues. Considering the length of time I’ve owned this and how many attempts I’ve taken to feel pleased with its performance , I just don’t like it. My kids don’t even play with it after about a week. It really just causes frustration in us all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a life saver

My youngest can use it with ease and he is learning more and more from it everyday. I fully recommend this product to any parent looking for a helping hand when it comes to the entertainment of the children. 10/10

Great for kids and myself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love anything with Alexa so far and I have the larger one and then got this one and it has been great. The screen is on the smaller side but that hasn't been a problem at all for us. My kids just started school so when we get stuck on a problem we just ask Alexa. We use this one in thr living room just for a clock also. I love how it has the camera and I can drop in whenever I choose to. And I can call when I run to the store and they can call me. They just say call mom which they loved at first now its not so much. I like how you can choose to turn the kids option on or off. We love to listen to music and Alexa knows each of my kids voices now so she can play what we all like.

My kids were very happy and thought they won the lottery. Also very easy to set up parental controls for it. Overall, definitely recommend.
