I bought a PT700 and used iton Win7. Everything worked fine. Installed the software and away I went. However, I thought it might be nice to use it on my WIN10/11 machine so I downloaded the software from the Brother site. It took about 30minutes fro it to install which wouldn't be so bad, but then when I opened the printer software all my previously saved labels had been wiped. Why would anyone do this - No warning no backup attempt just labels gone. I'm not a happy bunny and it stinks
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks like default option to install editor software for Windows 7 is P-touch Editor 5.4. Whereas default option to install editor software for Win10/11 is P-touch Editor 6.
But if this is same PC then you may still have both versions of editor software installed. Default install paths are as below: -
So if you still have Editor 5.4 installed and can open it, please check Tools > Options > Path to see where your previous files are stored. If they are all there probably take a backup first and you could possibly copy them to use them with Editor 6 too. Or just continue using Editor 5.4.
