They're Ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are ok for some products, but for products that really need power, these just didn't cut it. They didn't have as much power or last as long as my normal brand. I probably won't buy them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These are great batteries and a wonderful value for their price. I love that I can find them at almost every store, and that they are usually the best priced. They are not cheap either, they last so long and are definitely a life saver!

What happened??

I switched from those Copper Top people to Rayovac years ago after getting tired of losing vital equipment to my job as a firefighter to batteries that leak and damage destroy that equipment just when you need it most. Have always been happy with Rayovac until about a year ago when I started experiencing the same problems with Rayovac batteries leaking and damaging/destroying my personal equipment since I am now retired. Just found another set of "fresh" batteries had leaked in a high end LED flashlight I recently purchased, leaving me with the mess of trying to counteract the alkaline leakage with vinegar and hoping the flashlight isn't ruined. I have had this happen no less than 4 times to my equipement in the past 6 months. What Happened? Did the Copper Top guys buy Rayovac out??

Long lasting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 12 years is a long time to last! Thankfully these can be kept for when needed and can be used in a multitude of things from remotes to children’s toys. Enough batteries for a few items but small enough package to fit in a small drawer.
