Great Product!!!

I have boxes and boxes of papers to shred! So far this is the best shredder I have ever owned! I will always look for this brand and stay with this name!!

Excellent shredder

This shredder was bought to replace an older Fellowes straight cut shredder which had actually lasted and worked hard for many years. The quality and performance of this new shredder are fantastic. The security of the cross cut shred is better, the speed of the shredding is about 10X what my other shredder was capable of, it is a very sturdy unit and is so much quieter than my previous unit. It also ripped through staples without a hitch.

Great shredder

I have used a smaller Fellowes shredder for the past several years and it worked well. As my volume of shredding increased I felt I needed a larger shredder with a greater page capacity. This new shredder handle all my needs perfectly. It even shreds staples!

New Shredder

Had alot of old taxes, checks etc. to shred. Worked nicely...I used a plastic bag in it which was more helpful i thought. It said it would shred 11 pages but it jammed on me when I put in several at a time and i had to "dig" it out piece by piece. I bought mainly for its being heavy duty and it will shred credit cards with no problem.I will only put 2-3 pages in at once, besides that I'm happy

I have had many home shredders in the past. You can't beat the price and quality for a mid-grade shredder, and this model it is oh so QUIET! You will be pleased with this purchase and will wonder why you ever bought another brand. I'm a highly satisfied customer. I have already encouraged my friends to purchase this model when their shredders becomes useless.

Replacement for 20+ oldie

My 20 year old plus Fellowes PS25 with 5 sheet capacity finally died. Got such good service out of the last one thought I'd try another with a little more capacity (11C) . So far so good. I miss the electric eye sensor instead of a manual trip to start, the power supply is not on the cord but in the head unit making it top heavy, and it has a different vibration when it runs like something is out of balance. That may just be the cross cut design. I assume the first two changes are the safety wieners. Other than my picky observations, it works well, hasn't overheated, and capacity is an upgrade. Noise level is different than old but acceptable. Time will tell if this one will go 20 plus years but one can dream.

Cons: top heavy

Your faithful PS25 was a strip-cut unit and did not require lubrication so we just wanted to call out the need to lubricate your 11C blades with Fellowes oil (item #35250) every time you empty the basket. This will prevent intrusive noise and keep the blades running at peak performance!
