Defective Belt Unit?

After installing the new belt unit, my MFC randomly won't print and displays the message "Unable to Print 32". The first time it happened, I shut the printer off for a minute, restarted, then it print. It has happened several times. Shutting down doesn't work. Now I have to take it apart (remove the toners, remove the belt unit) sometimes multiple times to get it to work. I have searched the inside of the machine for small pieces of paper that troubleshooting sites claim might be the problem. Nothing found. Wondering if I got a defective belt unit.
