Worked exactly as described. It would be nice if the drums were universal and maybe they are, because the black drum seems to need replacing fastest. I do understand that the paper goes through All four drums even if it has no color in the print, and therefore the drums theoretically wear out all at the same time, but in practice/reality - the black drum transfers more toner and therefore sees more wear & tear.
Overall though, perfectly fine product at a very reasonable price. I have ONLY brother printers and scanners (except one small Epson for travel), and I appreciate that the company doesn't share the same business model as other manufacturers.
Printer only needs black drum. Brother forces user to buy a set of 4 (1 drum per color in set). Unnecessary packaging, shipping, and general waste. Brother....please do better. I am more willing to stick with companies that care about the total picture. Make the drums universal. Provide a sticker when installing. People need to think a little these days just so there isn't so much waste.

Very disappointing. I would have thought the company's QC program would have been better than it obviously is.

I have had my Brother printer for about 5 years now and have been very pleased with it's performance. I print frequently and it has served the purpose very well. The toner cartridges last much longer than the ink I was using in my previous ink jet printer. I am just now receiving a notification to replace the black drum, which I think is pretty good for 5 years of use. I would recommend this printer and look forward to using it for many more years.
This printer MFC-L3770CDW is the worst printer we have purchased for our company. It makes no difference how many drums are toners you buy. Print quality is terrible. Barely visible no matter if Black or White or Color. If you wish to use it as a door stop it would be a great buy.

I purchased a MFC-L3770 printer and one of the drum units had a huge chip/gouge that caused a repeating cyan shape in the middle of the page. This was brand-new! I contacted Brother support and they turned down my claim because I was beyond the 90 day ‘consumables’ warranty. I jumped brands to Brother because I thought I could trust them. I guess I was wrong.
