Brand New Drum Unit Still Says Needs New Drum

Replaced the drum last week with a brand new unit and it still says it needs a new drum. I can find no information on how to fix this issue online.

We understand that the "Replace Drum" message continues to appear after installing a new Brother DR-630 drum unit. We are happy to help. The "Replace Drum" message needs to be reset manually after replacing the drum unit. We have many helpful resources on our support website which should help. I have used mine for 6 years and used it. It’s black and white. It says replace photoconductor? I think that’s the drum? It shows the thing that holds in cartridge? I am not sure if I should get a new one or not. You can use Arthur ink if you want a generic brand. Mine got messed up cuz a paper jam. I don’t know if I should replace it or look at new ones. I just want black and white.

The previous drum unit became noisy sometime before the Replacement Warning appeared, but it never stopped making good copies. The machine quieted down with the new drum. This is a several-year-old refurbished machine that hasn't missed a beat.
Shipment was super fast.
