Same issue. Have used Dymo for years, now they require these branded labels on the 550 series and the diskette labels we use everyday for business are not available- I guess my 5 almost brand new 550 printers are trash now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2 Changes needed to be Great!!!!

While these are not that bad of a sticker, there is still room for improvement with them. My first initial issue with them is the roll of labels when you first it out of the box. You all put an adhesive sticker that holds the roll together( makes sense). Wrong!!! That sticker that is used leaves a really bad sticker film on the first and the 3rd sticker. So when I got to feed the new roll into the rollers it wont do anything or go through. I then have to cut that sticker off and THEN i am able to get it to feed through the printer with no issues. Then when i do print out my labels. The Now second sticker that had the film on it as well is sticking to my printer and that creates an issue. SO to sum all that up, please find a better way to band these rolls as I am losing 3 stickers per roll and when you add that up over time, its a lot of wasted product I wish I could be using.
2nd thing is the actual label itself could in my opinion be a little stronger with its sticky side. They dont always stick as good as my packing labels do and I again have to take off and print another when this happens as well.
That is all I got, hopefully good feedback that will allow for Dymo to make changes because I cant be the only person having these issues .
Thank you!

Hi Mark,
Thank you for contacting us and providing your honest feedback, it is essential in the improvement of our products.
We are sorry that you had a negative experience with our product particularly with the sticky tab holding the labels in place. We will forward your suggestion to the appropriate department for consideration. With regards to the strength of the adhesive, you may consider the durable version of the labels.
