Leak and break, they do not last 10 years.

Bought them about six years ago, and left them in my bedroom when I moved out for university. Thought they'd be fine because of the 10 year guarantee. Moved back recently and they have all leaked or broken. Don't pay the extra money for this brand, it's nothing special.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Using Duracell for over 30 years. Was in public safety so lives depended on batteries. During the past few years our devices have been damaged by leaking batteries and actually were still holding power. Flashlight batteries leak during short term storage, and electronics would still work, but the batteries leak. Something changes as this was never an issue years ago. Now it’s almost a guarantee the batteries will leak.
AAA are the worst with C right behind.
9 bolt seem to be the only ones that don’t leak.

BUYER BEWARE! Don’t waste your $!

These batteries don’t last and drain SO quickly!!
I bought a 6 pack of AAA batteries at the beginning of February of this year for my food scale. & here I am in April and have gone through all 6 of these batteries! Now, for something that is only being used (at best) just a couple minutes a day why would I have to change the batteries 3 different times?
Really disappointed! How is it supposed to last 10 years if it doesn’t even last 3 months?

I don’t know what happened to you Duracell. You used to be my go-to for all of my battery needs. But situations like this keep happening more and more frequently and i don’t see the point in wasting my money like this anymore. Going to try my luck with Energizer!

Batteries that now corrode!

I always thought that Duracell batteries were the best. Now I find that you can buy packs with batteries that have already started to corrode. Batteries that still have 7 years of a 10 year guarantee to run.

i have tried many other brands of batteries, but none of them are as good as these. lasts 1+ year in a remote or small appliance and others don't last near as long. i won't buy another kind anymore!
