Don't get this one

Terrible design. Not enough room between desk and tray. Not enough tray space. Mouse area has no edges so it falls off the area constantly.
Pros: cheap
Cons: Design, Functionality

Dependable Purchase that never goes to waste!

I have been purchasing this products since I started be in charge of ordering all our company's office products. From one coworker to the other, by word of mouth have recommended this keyboard drawer. The drawer itself look nice and it does the job of making it comfortable to be able to type. The only thing that I would mention is that the bracket holders are made of plastic and overtime they start cracking. Another factor is that the bracket set is not sold separately which means you would have to purchase the item again. Maybe a suggestion would be for the bracket mounts to be made of a different material such as steel or a stronger material. Over all we would recommend this to someone who is looking for a keyboard drawer. I believe they will be satisfied with your product as well! I love your products and so keep amazing the world of all your inventions, new and old and making our office life easier to manage and organize! You guys rock!

My husband built a standing work station for me and the keyboard drawer makes all the difference in the use and ease on working at comptuter.

The keyboard tray is fine; it is the attachment for the mouse that is the problem. It is a very uncomfortable distance from the keyboard and also sits much lower than the keyboard. I actually have to lean forward and turn to the side. I can't believe this keyboard was tested and approved. It does not pass the ergonomic test in my opinion.

We are sorry that you have been unhappy with the mouse tray feature on the product. Fellowes offers a wide variety of keyboard trays and drawers which allow a user to choose a manager which best suits their workspace needs as well as one which fits their specific posture and/or stature and comfort preference. The mouse platform on this tray can be mounted on the left or right and is flush with the front and side of the keyboard platform when extended. As you have mentioned, the mouse tray sits about ½” or so below the keyboard platform and though it is not your personal preference, please be assured that it is a position which is ergonomically safe. It sounds as if you may want to consider a keyboard tray which has more adjustability in the mouse platform. Some of our current trays feature a “big board” which accommodates both keyboard and mouse (i.e. 8018001). Other trays feature independent height customization which allows the keyboard platform and mouse tray to operate at two separate heights. The mouse trays on these managers are capable of being adjusted over or away from the numeric pad of the keyboard as well as sitting flush with the keyboard platform (i.e. 8036001). Our newer line, the Tilt-N-Slide (8060201, 8060101), which mounts on the edge of the desk, can be used in a reclined seating position and allows more leg room. Great Product

The engineering of how the product was packaged was brilliant. Everything was in one place and easy to find. The template to line up the screws was very helpful. The only thing I would add to the instructions is to make sure that this drawer does not prevent other drawers from opening. I needed to move mine back more after it was installed which was a pain.
