I have not heard any chirping since I changed the batteries out. Long lasting and the packaging was easy to open

I appreciate that it is guaranteed for 5 years since I don't use 9V batteries super often and one may sit for a while. They seem to work fine - haven't had them long enough to speak of battery life length.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these Duracell batteries to replace the old batteries in all of my fire alarms. I already had these same batteries in 2 of my fire alarms and I used some cheapies in the others in my house. These duracells have outlasted the cheapies by months. I will be replacing all of the batteries in my fire alarms with these duracells now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love duracell batteries. They always last the longest out of lots of battery brands i've tried. I've bought other ones because they're cheaper and i'm short on money, but they're never worth it because they aren't as good as Duracell. #1 brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family needed 9v volt batteries to replace in our smoke detectors. We went with the Duracell brand because it's an American brand that was been around for years. We have been purchasing Duracell because they last forever! Cheaper store brand batteries and other brands simply don't last as long as Duracell. We also appreciate the 5 year guarantee on the packaging. Gives us peace of mind that any extra batteries in the package will last for years to come and won't be "duds" when you need a replacement. We only buy Duracell in our family and recommend you do too the copper topper that's built to last! Our home and family are now safe with Duracells batteries in our smoke detectors.

I like to have these batteries on hand for when my smoke detectors go off. There's nothing worse than having a chirping smoke detector and no batteries to replace them with.
